Mission Statement

Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays promotes the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered persons, their families and friends. This is done through: support, to cope with an adverse society; education, to enlighten an ill-informed public; and advocacy, to end discrimination and to secure equal civil rights. Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays provides opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity and acts to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity.

PFLAG Support Meeting First United Methodist Church is located at 142 E Jackson St. Orlando, FL. The Wesley Ministries and Education Building (see this map of the campus before construction - large file) is on the corner of South Street and Magnolia View Map Room 313, 7pm. Also, please note the church will under construction in the near future. A building and room change will be announced. PFLAG Support meetings are every third Wednesday of the month.  For more information about the Support Meeting, call the helpline at (407) 236-9177.  The Wesley Ministries and Education Building (see this map of the campus - large file) is on the corner of South Street and Magnolia View Map Across South Street from our original location Room 313, 7-9pm.
