Back in October of 2016, the Board of Directors created a ByLaws Committee for the purpose of reviewing and revising PFLAG Orlando & Central Florida’s original ByLaws, in order to bring them up-to-date with today’s best business practices for non-profits and technology usage. The committee’s final draft was completed in April 2017 and presented (emailed) to the Board of Directors. Our first Special Meeting is scheduled in mid-June; this is a very tall order so it may take multiple meetings, over the next couple of months, to finalize and approve new ByLaws. We’ll keep you informed and notify our members, once everything is in order.
